Meet the Team

Dr. Raza is a fellowship trained interventional radiologist who is certified by the American Board of Radiology, as well as the Royal College of Radiologists in the United Kingdom. In the past, he has served on the faculty at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston as an assistant professor and Chief of Interventional Radiology, where he taught residents and fellows the skills of minimally invasive procedures under imaging guidance.

After more than 15 years of practicing interventional radiology, Dr. Syed A. Raza has gained extensive experience in treating vein disease, including varicose veins and venous reflux, peripheral arterial disease and oncological interventions. He is also highly experienced in the treatment of occluded dialysis grafts or fistulas and venous access procedures.

During his academic career, Dr. Raza authored several papers in interventional radiology that have been published in the most respected peer review journals of Radiology in America. His pioneering work in modified percutaneous approach to TIPPS and transtracheal stenting of airways received particular attention from his medical colleagues and have been subsequently quoted in several papers in the field of interventional radiology.

In 2006, Dr. Raza moved to the Memorial Hermann Memorial City hospital in Houston, Texas and worked as Chief of Interventional Radiology for several years. Dr. Raza is a member of Radiological Society of North America and the Society of Interventional Radiology.

Dr. Raza is the founder of Premier Vein & Vascular Center in Houston, where he provides consultation and treatment services to his patients. He has established his practice to provide minimally invasive treatments in a state of the art, office based procedure suite.

Kathy is a certified physician assistant that works closely with Dr. Syed A. Raza to see new patients, formulate treatment plans, and perform in-office procedures.

Kathy graduated summa cum laude from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas with a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition. She later earned her Master's degree, with honors, in Physician Assistant studies from Baylor College of Medicine in 2004. She has spent the last six years working in vein clinics and has vast experience with venous ultrasound and vein procedures. Like Dr. Raza, she has a passion for delivering excellent care to patients through both her compassion and integrity.

When Kathy is not helping to improve the quality of life of patients, she enjoys spending time with her two young children. She is also a nationally ranked triathlete and has competed in events, such as Ironman Coeur d'Alene and the Boston marathon.

Jennilyn is a registered nurse at Premier Vein & Vascular Center, where she manages and cares for patients that receive conscious sedation during therapeutic and diagnostic procedures.

Jennilyn received an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Cy-Fair College and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Arlington. Before coming to Premier Vein & Vascular Center, she accumulated experience working in Interventional Radiology/Special Procedures (2012-2014), Cath Lab Recovery (2010-2012), and in a Cardiology Unit (2008-2010). She uses her critical nursing skills and protocols to deal with potential complications or emergency situations.

In 2014, Jennilyn married her husband, who she has traveled to Japan with three times and who shares her love of Japanese Animation. Jennilyn is also as serious lover of coffee.

As Medical Assistant at Premier Vein & vascular center, Herminia provides administrative and clinical assistance to Dr. Raza. She supports the team by registering patients, scheduling appointments and managing patient accounts and records. She also takes patient medical history information and vital signs, prepares patients, and helps with procedures.

Herminia went to Brightwood College, she graduated as a certified Medical Assistant in 2016.
She worked in a Vein clinic for a year before joining our team, she loves to help others, and is fluent in English and Spanish. In her spare time she enjoys playing with her dogs, spend time with her family and fiancé.

Nora Rezaie is the Practice Manager for Premier Vein & Vascular Center. Nora is a Radiologic Technologist certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and has over 10 years of experience working in the areas of diagnostic radiology and special procedures.

After completing her education in Houston, Texas, Nora began her career at Memorial Hermann Memorial City Hospital, under the mentorship of Dr. Syed Raza, where she managed the Interventional Radiology Department. Nora successfully trained and supervised a team of nursing and technical staff in a high volume inpatient and outpatient setting, consistently providing excellent care and customer service to their patients. This commitment to excellence continued throughout her career at Memorial Hermann where Nora coordinated and personally oversaw education and training for Associate Degree Program candidates in Radiologic Technology for more than 100 student technologists.

In addition to providing excellent patient care, Nora enjoys spending time with her family in Katy, which includes teaching Martial Arts classes at the academy where she received her training to become a 1st degree Black Belt.

I was born in Houston, Texas and have lived here all of my life. I enjoy spending time with family - particularly my granddaughters. I also love to travel with my twin sister to historic cities such as Boston, Savannah and New Orleans. In addition, I take great pleasure in collecting antique paperweights and mourning jewelry.

I began my career with a large group of radiologists at Memorial City in 1984 as a medical transcriptionist and have spent the bulk of my career in medical billing management. I am CPC certified and am currently working on two additional certifications to insure that laws, rules and regulations regarding medical billing and coding are maintained to the highest standard.

I’ve known and worked with Dr. Raza for 10 years and appreciate the atmosphere of compassion and superior medical care that he cultivates by his own example as well as the gathering of the finest staff in the universe.

Christller received his Bachelors Degree in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Masters Degree in Nursing from University of Texas Medical Branch in 2015. He received post master certification for Emergency and Trauma in University of Texas Health Science. He has worked in Medical/Surgical/ Orthopedic unit in addition to Emergency Room nursing for 10 years. He was awarded nurse of the year at Clear Lake Regional Hospital in 2012. He is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

In his spare time he likes to spend time with his wife and two young daughters going to the zoo, park and children museum.

Zohra is the Ultrasound Technologist at Premier Vein and Vascular Center. Zohra is a Registered Vascular Technologist licensed by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography and has over 10 years of experience working in diagnostic ultrasound and specializes in Vascular sonography. In addition to her skills and knowledge she brings to the clinic she also loves teaching young kids at the Early Childhood development Center.
In her spare time, Zohra loves spending time with her husband and her 3 nephews, volunteering, practicing yoga and learning classical Indian dance.

As a Medical Assistant here at Premier Vein & Vascular center Erika assists Dr. Raza in the vein procedures, registers patients, answers phones, schedules patients, and takes medical history and patient's vitals. Erika graduated from Remington College in 2011 and has worked for a Podiatrist and Oncology office in the past. She was born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico but was raised in Houston, TX. She is fluent in both Spanish and English.

Michelle is the Medical Receptionist at Premier Vein & Vascular Center, and is the first and last person you will see when visiting the center in Katy. Michelle is responsible for checking in and out patients, along with accommodating all patient needs and communicating them appropriately with all of the office staff.

Michelle is in the process of completing her Bachelor of Science in Health Administration and will be attending the University of Houston. Michelle has worked in the administration field for the past 4 years.

Like her parents, Michelle met her husband at a salsa club. In her free time, Michelle enjoys spending time with her family. Some of Michelle’s hobbies include singing and dancing.

Yanuba is one of the Medical Receptionist at Premier Vein & Vascular Center, she is the singer, you might catch her singing along to the music when visiting the center in Katy. Yanuba is responsible for checking in and out patients, along with accommodating all patient needs and communicating them appropriately with the office staff.

Yanuba is a student at Houston community college double majoring in Sports medicine and Business Administration. Yanuba has more than 10yrs experience as a front desk associate and 5 years in the medical field.

A Puerto Rico native Yanuba enjoys salsa dancing, she has passed her love of music and dancing to her 2 daughters one of whom competes as a Junior Salsa Dancer with her team in competitions around the US.

Adriana is the Medical Receptionist at Premier Vein & Vascular Center's Cypress location.

She has been in the medical field background for more than 15 years, with billing for the past 10 years. Attended TSB for billing and has been loving the complexity of it ever since.

Roxana is a Medical Assistant here at Premier Vein & Vascular Center, she helps with patient scheduling, patient intake history and medication reconciliation. Roxana works close with Dr. Raza in back office assisting and preparing patients for vein procedures.

Roxana graduated from NIT in 2006, she is Nationally Registered and Certified as a Medical Assistant through the NAHP. She has previous experience in ICU, pediatrics, family practice and Ob-Gyn. On her free time, she enjoys long runs and spending time with family and friends.
